It was 14 days ago that I posted about signals for a potential big mid-month storm with some Euro ensemble members even showing a snowstorm for Long Island.

Here comes the storm with inland areas of the northeast expected to receive up to 2 feet of snow and northwestern Long Island to possibly approach 1 foot. See previous posts from this morning for more details and snow maps.
