Could a Tropical System Affect the East Coast in July?
For those that follow the computer models, one could not help but notice the GFS run from this morning, as it brought a hurricane up the east coast of the United States around July 22nd/23rd, and the run from this afternoon is still showing the tropical system (see image below). However, the GFS is one of the few models showing the storm. I will continue to watch it, but, as of now, there is nothing to worry about. Long Island is in store for great weather again tomorrow, but the remainder of the week will bring a chance of showers each day. If the timing is right, next weekend should once again bring beautiful weather! I will have a new blog post tomorrow morning.
