A Look at the Week Ahead

Today begins a great stretch of weather for Long Island as the next 3 days look to be sunny and dry. Today should be in the low 80's away from the shore, and tomorrow and Tuesday will both be noticeably warmer with temperatures in the mid to upper 80's. It looks like there is a chance of some scattered showers Wednesday night into Thursday morning and again Friday night. The following image shows total rainfall expected through 8 PM Friday, and you can see it's showing very light amounts for Long Island:
