Weather This Week for Long Island
The weather on Long Island this week will be fairly uneventful, as we're in the beginning of what should be a relatively dry next couple of weeks. After temperatures in the 50's this morning, today will be mostly sunny and warm with temperatures generally in the mid 80's. Tomorrow will be more of the same, but with temperatures a couple of degrees higher than today and an increase in humidity as well. There will be more clouds Wednesday afternoon, and there is a 20% chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the mid to late afternoon, but most locations will remain dry.
Thursday will be another nice day with temperatures in the mid 80's, but there will be increasing clouds by late afternoon, and a better chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight into early Friday morning. The weather then looks more unsettled for Friday night into Saturday night with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms.
