A Look at Long Island Weather Through This Weekend
Today will be partly cloudy and warm with temperatures in the mid 80's, and there is a chance of an isolated thunderstorm, but the best chances are for NYC and Westchester County and possibly into Queens and northwest Nassau. Any storms that do develop today will be slow moving and may cause flooding. There is probably a better chance of a few showers on Long Island this evening than during the day.
Tomorrow and Friday will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the low 80's, and only a slight chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm. There is a better chance of a few showers late Thursday night into early Friday morning.
The cold front approaches Saturday morning with the best chance of showers and thunderstorms being from late morning into early evening. Sunday looks to be a great day with sunny skies, low humidity, and temperatures in the upper 70's.
Monday should start out dry, but we have to watch for the potential for rain Monday night and Tuesday.
