Long Island Weather and the Euro Still Showing Tropical System to Threaten East Coast
While today will be mostly cloudy on Long Island, conditions will improve by late afternoon enough for the sun to come out. Temperatures will mostly be in the mid to upper 70's. Tomorrow and Thursday should be great days with sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80's. While Friday should stay dry, there is an increasing chance of a stray shower by Friday evening. At this time, there is a chance of showers on Saturday.
The European model continues to show development of a system in the tropics for late this weekend. The system would be named Tropical Storm Gert, and the Euro is showing it coming close to the east coast next Tuesday.
