Harvey May Regenerate and Affect Texas, and Potential for Tropical System Near East Coast Next Week


Tropical Storm Harvey dissipated over the weekend due to wind shear, but there it is become increasingly likely that it will regenerate in the Gulf of Mexico and possibly move into southern Texas as a Tropical Storm late this week.

Most of the computer models are showing a tropical system to develop just east of Florida late this weekend and possibly move northeast off the east coast of the United States. There is still a great deal of uncertainty in track, timing, and strength of the potential storm. I will continue to update.
