The Dry Weather for Long Island and the Northeast Will Be Coming to an End
The sunny and dry weather will continue for Long Island and the northeast states for a few more days, but there are indications that a return to a more normal pattern with more rain will be starting later this week and into next week. Tomorrow and Wednesday will be beautiful days like today, but it will be warmer by Wednesday with temperatures in the mid 70's.
A frontal system will be close to Long Island Thursday and Friday, so there is a slight chance of a few showers from time to time, but for the most part Thursday and Friday should be warm with fair weather. Saturday should be a nice day, but it looks there like could be an extended period of rain for Sunday and Monday, with the potential for some heavy downpours.
