Timing the Rain and Wind Today, and the Weather for Game 4 of the ALDS at Yankee Stadium Tonight


There are some scattered showers around Long Island early this morning, but most of the rain should hold off until early to mid afternoon. The remnants of Hurricane Nate will pass well north and west of Long Island, but as it passes, it will drag a surface trough across Long Island this afternoon resulting in some scattered heavy showers and strong wind gusts as high as 35 mph. Rainfall totals will generally only be about a half inch on Long Island.

Game 4 of the American League Division Series between the Yankees and Indians is scheduled to start at 7 PM at Yankee Stadium tonight. Most of the rain should have already moved through by then, and there is no reason to not expect the game to be played tonight. However, there is still a chance of a passing shower during the early to middle part of the game.
