After Quiet Week for Long Island, Potential for 2 Storms Later This Month
After sunny weather for Long Island through this weekend, stormy weather will return later this month. It looks like the potential for a heavy rain event next Tuesday and Tuesday night, and then the GFS is showing a hurricane affecting southern Florida and then rapidly advancing northward and passing just east of Long Island on the 29th/30th. Of course, it's much too soon to tell the exact path or strength, or if it will even develop.
