Timing the Rain Coming to Long Island and an Early Look at Thanksgiving Weather
It looks like rain for Long Island tomorrow from approximately 6 AM to 12 PM for Nassau and 7 AM to 1 PM for Suffolk. Amounts will most likely be around a half of an inch. Friday and most of Saturday will then be dry, but a strong cold front will bring rain Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Sunday and Monday will then be chilly and breezy.
The next chance of rain then looks like it will be right around Thanksgiving. The details after this are sketchy, but there is the possibility of a bigger storm late Thanksgiving weekend.
