The GFS model (1st image) is showing snow on Long Island from Wednesday morning into Thursday morning with the potential for 5 to 8 inches of snow if it takes this track. The Euro model (2nd image) is showing the storm closer to the coast, so the heavy snow is inland with amounts up to 24 inches in northern Virginia and 17 inches in upstate NY. Remember, this is not a forecast as It's just too early to tell the exact track and timing. It will be late March, so it is more difficult to get snow to accumulate during the daytime due to the higher Sun angle, but it's possible if it comes down hard enough.
