- Big snowstorm for northern and interior New England tomorrow night into Tuesday with some places getting over 12 inches of snow (the NAM model is even showing 48 inches of snow for Mount Washington, lol), while it will be rain for Long Island and southern New England. - The image below shows projected snow amounts from the NAM model through 7 PM Tuesday. - The next storm for Dec 2nd/3rd will be a warmer storm, and it will bring rain for the northeast, although it could start as sleet or snow for northern New England. - Then we have to watch for a storm around December 6th to 8th as 5 of the 51 Euro ensembles are showing more than 6 inches of snow for Long Island during that period.
