Red Flag Warning for Long Island

See the "My Personal Weatherman" Facebook page for daily updates. Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/MikeLaniWeather

- Red Flag Warnings now include all of Long Island for today from 10 AM to 8 PM. Humidity levels will only be 10% to 15%. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are expected or occurring. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels will create a significantly elevated fire growth potential. - For Long Island, mostly sunny and breezy today with temps in the mid to upper 50's. A cold rain arrives around lunch-time tomorrow and lasts into Saturday morning. Most of the weekend looks pretty good as it will clear up Saturday afternoon, and the next rain event doesn't arrive until late Sunday night. Rain then for Monday into Tuesday morning. - It still looks like a big snowstorm next week from the northern Rockies through the upper Mid-West and into Maine.
