A Blizzard For the Mid-West, But Quieter Weather for Long Island

See the "My Personal Weatherman" Facebook page for daily updates.

As the blizzard rages on in the upper mid-west today, our weather is a lot quieter here in the northeast. - Mostly sunny and cool today with highs in the low 50's on Long Island. Rain late Friday night into mid to late morning on Saturday, but then turning warmer Saturday afternoon with temps near 70 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. More rain then from Sunday late afternoon into Monday evening. - The Euro is showing a potential high wind event for late next week with wind gusts of 50 to 75 mph for the northeast. I will continue to watch it, but it's too far away to worry about it yet.
