Long Island Forecast and a Glimpse at Memorial Day Weekend

See the "My Personal Weatherman" Facebook page for daily updates at https://www.facebook.com/MikeLaniWeather - Mostly sunny today for Long Island with highs in the low to mid 60's (see 1st image). - There is a slight chance of a shower tonight, but the best chance will be between 2 AM and 8 AM tomorrow (see 2nd image for simulated radar at 7 AM tomorrow). - Tomorrow: Becoming mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 60's. - Friday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon into Friday night with highs in the low 70's. - Saturday: Partly cloudy with highs near 70 degrees. - Sunday: There is still uncertainty as to whether or not a warm front pushes through or remains just south of Long Island. If the front remains to our south, we'll be partly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 60's. If the front comes north, it will be warmer with highs in the low to mid 70's, but also more clouds and a chance of some showers. - There is a better chance of showers Sunday night into Monday night. - Memorial Day weekend: While it's too soon for a specific forecast, it looks to be warmer than normal with highs in the mid 70's. A couple of showers can't be ruled out yet, but I think overall, it looks pretty nice.
