Long Island Forecast Through Memorial Day Weekend: - Rain this morning, but most of the afternoon should just be mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 60's. Showers and thunderstorms between 5 PM and midnight, and it could come in 2 waves with the first being around 6 PM and the second being around 10 PM to 11 PM. The risk for severe weather is much higher for inland areas, especially PA and NJ. However, damaging wind gusts and even small hail can't be ruled out on Long Island, especially northern Nassau. - Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 70's, but it will be windy with gusts up to 30 mph from the northwest. - Saturday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 60's to around 70 degrees. - Saturday night: Increasing clouds with a few showers possible after midnight until around 6 AM Sunday. - Sunday: Partly to mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the upper 70's to around 80 degrees. - Memorial Day: Partly to mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70's.
