- Today: Heat Advisory for Long Island Island, with the exception of eastern Suffolk. Very warm and humid with highs in the upper 80's. With the humidity, it will feel like the mid 90's. There is a 40% chance of some scattered strong thunderstorms, mostly between 3 PM and 8 PM. - Tomorrow: Partly cloudy and less humid with highs in the mid 80's. There is only a 20% chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. - Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy and humid with highs mostly in the mid 80's and a good chance of thunderstorms at any time during the day and into the night. Some of the storms could contain strong wind gusts and very heavy downpours. - Thursday: There is uncertainty in the timing of the cold front clearing the area, but it will still be warm and humid with a chance of some thunderstorms. - Friday to Sunday: Mostly sunny with low humidity and highs only in the upper 70's. There is still some uncertainty as a few showers can't be ruled out at times, but we should have a better idea in a couple of days. - There are still no strong signals for any Tropical Storms or Hurricanes in the Atlantic, but there are a few areas that I'm watching.
