Forecast for Long Island With a Storm for the Northeast This Weekend
See the "My Personal Weatherman" Facebook page for frequent updates.
It will be mostly sunny through Thursday with increasing clouds Friday afternoon. There will still be a light breeze today, but then wind conditions should be almost calm tomorrow and Thursday with the center of high pressure moving overhead. Highs will only be around 31 degrees today, and then 37 or 38 degrees tomorrow. We will reach the low 40's on Thursday and mid 40's on Friday.
Rain will arrive sometime on Saturday around late morning or early afternoon and continue into the night. Some showers will linger on Sunday, and it may end as a period of snow showers Sunday night as the upper level low passes through. I'm not expecting any accumulating snow on Long Island. Fair weather is expected next Monday to next Wednesday with highs around the low 40's.
