235 mph gusts: record-breaking landfall

Super Typhoon Goni now has sustained winds of 195 mph with gusts up to 235 mph. If it landfalls (in the Philippines) at its current strength, it will be the most powerful tropical cyclone on record to make landfall in world history.

The minimum central pressure is an incredibly low 884 mb!
