The new Euro ensemble mean snow map through the end of January has increased snow amounts from the last run 4 days ago (the last time I posted the control run, not the ensemble mean). Remember, this map just shows an average of all 50 ensemble members, so don't take this map literally. The only takeaway from this post and my previous post should be that there is a decent chance for normal to below normal temperatures for most of the Mid-Atlantic and northeast in January with a chance for some snow events, especially in the 2nd half of the month.
