Amazing Accuracy from the HWRF Model that I Posted Sunday Morning

On Sunday morning, when Laura was a disorganized Tropical Storm, I posted the image on the left. The image on the right is the current view of Laura.

The HWRF model basically nailed the exact landfall location, intensity, and timing (within a few hours). Super impressive! That's why I posted the HWRF model several times, even though the National Hurricane Center was only forecasting Laura to become a Cat 1. This was very similar to my coverage of my Hurricane (Michael) 2 years ago.
