Arctic blast and new GFS run keeps it all snow on Long Island:
The 1st to 3rd images show the projected wind chill temperatures, projected temperatures, and projected wind gusts and direction at 7 AM Friday from the HRRR model.
The new 18Z GFS run keeps the storm as basically all snow on Long Island from Sunday night through Tuesday morning with around 6 to 12 inches, but it's still too early to be confident in that solution. The 4th image is for 7 PM Monday from the GFS. I will continue to update with the latest information. Always see previous posts for more information as well.
