Beautiful weather, then rain/wind with a cold front, and then a potential coastal storm?
- A great stretch of weather for Long Island with temperatures warming up next week and getting to around or just above 70 degrees on Thursday ahead of a strong cold front that will move through Thursday night into Friday morning with some rain and wind. The 2nd image is for 2 AM Friday from the GFS model.
- As I posted about last night, the models are signaling a potential coastal storm sometime around the 17th/18th. The 3rd and 4th images are from the new GFS and Canadian model runs. I may post the Euro or Euro ensembles later. Don't focus on exactly what each model is showing; I am just trying to show that there is the potential for a storm.
