Breaking! Alpha is now the storm going into Portugal! TD22 in the Gulf will now be named Beta later!

This is crazy! I have been following the storm going into Portugal and it's now Subtropical Storm Alpha, but it didn't look like they were going to name it since it's about to make landfall.
