- You can see the current radar in the 1st image with heavy snow skimming the south shore of Long Island. It will become scattered snow showers and end between late morning and early afternoon from west to east, and then it will become breezy with a very cold night ahead.
- There are lots of moving pieces and the timing of it all will determine the outcome for the Friday into Friday night storm. You can see the wide range of possible outcomes in the 2nd to 4th images from the Euro ensembles. Yes, while rain is still the most likely outcome for Long Island and southeastern New England, all options are still on the table. It will be briefly colder behind the storm and then milder weather will come in for a period (see last image for Long Island temps).
