Brief 3:45 AM post with the latest snow maps with no changes as today will be a wild day:

This will be quite a day with rain changing to snow with sharply colder air and strong wind gusts up to 45 mph on Long Island with isolated gusts to 50 mph in the usual spots near the water or at elevation. Temperatures dropping into the mid 20's by around 6 PM. Rain changing to sleet and then snow from west to east on Long Island starting by 11 AM in western Nassau and not until around 2:30 PM in eastern Suffolk. The snow tapers off from west to east between 6 PM and 9 PM. Wind chill near 10 degrees by 6 PM and near zero after midnight.
