Bring on the rainy weekend!

- Rainfall amounts overall have decreased for Long Island with less than an inch (closer to a half-inch for eastern Suffolk) from the first system, and the 2nd storm will bring heavy rain, but the duration won't be as long as previously expected. You can see the projected total rainfall amounts for both storms in the 2nd image.

- The closed-off upper level low and associated surface low will bring some afternoon showers Tuesday and Wednesday and possibly Thursday as well.
