***Clipper today with a strong cold front with a secondary storm bringing more snow to Maine, very cold and windy tonight into Friday morning, and then the Saturday washout with snow to the north...

... with the cut-off ocean storm hopefully keeping showers just offshore Sunday and Monday as the breeze continues***

- The cold front will bring some scattered heavier showers with snow to the north, and a secondary storm will form near the coast of Maine and become pretty strong as it brings snow there tonight into tomorrow morning.

- Becoming windy and much colder this evening and tonight after the cold front passes with wind chills in the teens on Long Island early tomorrow morning.

- Saturday is the washout with snow to the north, and I will post more maps for this going forward. Generally 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain for Long Island with the highest amounts east.

- It will be breezy Saturday, but stronger winds behind the storm for Sunday and Monday as the cut-off ocean storm meanders and hopefully doesn't retrograde closer to the coast.

- More rain for the middle to end of next week.
