***Cold start this morning with some snow to the north later into tonight, warming late week with...

... some rain from the front and strong offshore storm, and then watching the pre-Thanksgiving storm with rain and possible wind***

- A cold start to the day and then some snow well north of Long Island for later today into tonight (see HRRR snow map below). - Breezy tomorrow and then really warming up later this week ahead of the rain. The exact timing of the rain from the front and track of the offshore storm is still uncertain, but it looks like mostly rain from the front for Long Island from Friday evening into Saturday morning. - Still watching the tropics with the potential system in the Caribbean being given a 60% chance of tropical development by the NHC. - Then attention will turn to the pre-Thanksgiving storm which will likely bring rain and possibly wind, but the exact details are obviously uncertain with it being 8 to 9 days away.
