***Eclipse day is here! Mild today and then warm tomorrow before the backdoor cold front and then rain/wind later in the week from a strong cold front.***

- You all know about the mid to upper level clouds that will be advancing into the northeast later this morning into the afternoon, and I have included the cloud cover percentage map as well as the cloud layers for 3 PM with peak eclipse coverage generally around 3:25 PM.

- Nice and warm tomorrow, but a backdoor cold front will make it very chilly for eastern MA in the afternoon with temps in the 40's, and even Montauk may get down to 46 degrees by 6 PM.

- Lower rainfall totals overall from the cold front, but a period of heavy rain and strong winds mostly Thursday night into Friday morning.
