Epic flooding, beautiful weather, Hurricane Larry, and the Long Island forecast:

- Well, that was insane last night! Epic flooding in PA into NJ, NYC, northern Nassau, northwestern Suffolk, and into southern New England with torrential and record-setting rainfall rates and amounts. I'll post rainfall totals when they come out, but it looks like 5 to 8 inches by me in northern Nassau and in northwestern Suffolk with 8 to 12 inch amounts from the city and into parts of NJ and PA.

- After the rain ends early this morning in eastern Suffolk, we'll have 3 days of beautiful weather on Long Island with sunny skies and low humidity with highs in the low to mid 70's before some showers arrive on Sunday.

- Hurricane Larry is expected to become a major hurricane with 130 mph winds by the end of the weekend. Bermuda has to keep an eye on it, but it's not a threat to the east coast of the United States.
