Euro overdoing the snow next week:

- There will be a strong cold front moving through Long Island and the northeast next Thursday (Opening Day at Yankee Stadium), but the Euro has a wave of low pressure develop along it offshore and is showing accumulating snow even on Long Island (1st and 2nd images).

- However, the chances of that happening are very low, as you can see by the Euro ensemble mean snow map in the 3rd image, but the snow matrix for Long Island (4th image) from the Euro ensemble members does show a chance for a trace of snow.

- Either way, it will be cold next Friday into Saturday morning (5th image).
