Euro still shows high wind event, but no snow in sight:

There are still some timing differences between the models regarding the rain/wind event for New Year's Eve/Day. It generally looks like New Year's Eve at night into New Year's Day in the afternoon/evening. The Euro is showing some gusts over 70 mph on Long Island, but max gusts will likely be lower than that.

There's really no snow in sight for Long Island and southern New England, as there are only a few rogue Euro ensemble members showing snow (see 3rd image).
