* Until 245 PM EDT. * At 121 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen, with up to an additional inch possible over the next hour.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Farmingdale, Levittown, Deer Park, Plainview, Dix Hills, Melville, Hicksville, East Meadow, East Farmingdale, Baywood, Bethpage, Jericho, South Huntington, Plainedge and North Bay Shore.
