From Eric Webb (@webberweather): Piggybacking off my tweet from yesterday, here's a CDF graph for "major" (7"+) snowstorms in the mid-Atlantic & NE US states during moderate-strong El Niño winters.
In places like Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, & NYC, 75% of "major" snowstorms in moderate-strong El Niño winters (like this year) actually occur after January 20th.
Winter is very far from over folks.
