Future radar from 7 AM to 11 PM, and keep in mind that while central to eastern Long Island will get into the low 40's, temperatures will drop quickly when the cold front moves through later this afternoon with temperatures dropping as much as 5 to 10 degrees in one hour, so everything will freeze quickly by early evening. Wind chill temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees late tonight on Long Island and below zero for inland areas of the northeast, especially at elevation.
