GFS showing the most rain to the west but with wind gusts to 65 mph for Montauk and 70 for the Cape:

Also, new HWRF run (3rd image) now showing 963 mb at landfall in Florida!

Sunday may be in question now with some rain possible on Long Island as there may be a storm offshore that formed along the end of the front (4th image).

New GFS run now showing up to 20 inches of rain in Florida over the next 10 days! This is a model run, not a forecast, but the Model Blend is now showing max amounts over 10 inches, so stay tuned.

Cold at night the middle of next week with temperatures in the 30°'s showing up away from the coast and at elevation and even some 20°'s for the mountain peaks 🥶

The new GFS run is showing as much as 18 inches of rain in central Florida over the next 15 days. See previous post for the full update and the Model Blend rainfall map for the next 10 days.
