Great weather continues for Long Island:

LONG ISLAND FORECAST:

Today: Mostly sunny and becoming breezy in the afternoon with highs ranging from around 80 degrees for northern Nassau and northwestern Suffolk to the upper 70's for most of Long Island, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind mostly out of the WSW at 5 to 10 mph in the morning and then out of the SW at around 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph in the afternoon, especially along the south shore.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with lows around 60 degrees in Nassau and mid to upper 50's for most of Suffolk. Wind out of the W at around 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow: Sunny with highs mostly in the low 80's, but cooler for the south shore and east end. A sea breeze will also develop that will decrease the temperatures in the afternoon starting in southeastern Suffolk and working its way northwestward. Wind out of the NW to NNW at 5 to 10 mph, but becoming out of the SSE by mid to late afternoon in Suffolk.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with highs mostly in the upper 70's, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Variable wind at around 5 mph in the morning and 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.

Friday: Partly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 70's.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of some showers with highs mostly in the mid 70's.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70's to near 80 degrees.

Monday: Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 70's.
