Happy Flag Day with lower humidity today! Also, a nice weekend!

Here's the Long Island forecast:

Today (Flag Day): Partly sunny in the morning and mostly sunny in the afternoon with low humidity with highs in the low 80's, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the NNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the mid 60's in Nassau and low 60's in Suffolk. Wind becoming light and variable towards and after midnight.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny with low to moderate humidity with highs mostly around 80 degrees, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the SE at around 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tomorrow night: Partly cloudy with lows in the mid 60's in Nassau and low 60's in Suffolk. Wind out of the SSE at around 10 mph.

Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a 30% chance of a shower with highs in the mid to upper 70's, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the S at 10 to 20 mph in the afternoon.

Friday: Humid with scattered showers or thunderstorms possible in the early morning and then partly cloudy and very warm to hot and becoming a little less humid in the afternoon with a chance of some showers in the late afternoon with highs in the upper 80's in Nassau and mid 80's in Suffolk, but cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the WSW at 10 to 20 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and a little breezy with low humidity with highs in the upper 70's, but a little cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the NW at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 25 mph in the afternoon.

Sunday (Father's Day): Mostly sunny with a few clouds and a breeze with very low humidity with highs in the mid to upper 70's, but a little cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the NW at 10 to 20 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70's, but a little cooler for the south shore and east end. Wind out of the WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
