..., Vince to form, cold tomorrow night, mild and dry weekend before next week storm system and then colder***
- A chilly Halloween, but dry for trick-or-treating. - A tricky forecast with the coastal system and an inverted trough enhancing the area of rain with some snow inland for tomorrow. I will focus and post more about this later this morning and into tonight, but the National Weather Service is only slowly buying into it so far. The HRRR and NAM both have some accumulations inland. For Long Island, it means some areas of rain in a fairly narrow band with the inverted trough could linger into the afternoon. - Coldest night of the season tomorrow night with widespread 20's inland with frost and low 30's for the coast. - Sunny and tuning milder on Friday with low 60's basically for the weekend with dry weather for Long Island. - The next bigger storm system is for around Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday afternoon/evening. - Invest 97L will likely become Tropical Storm Vince and head towards Central America.
