Happy Independence Day, but unfortunately there will be some downpours!

- Happy 4th of July to all!! The timing is unfortunate though as there will be some periods of showers and thunderstorms with localized very heavy downpours! Hopefully they will have passed south-southeastward through Long Island by 5 PM or so as both the NAM and HRRR are showing, so maybe a later BBQ into the evening would be a better idea. The 3rd and 4th images are the future radar for 11 AM and 3 PM from the HRRR model to show the general idea.

- Humid weather continues for the foreseeable future.
