Heat Advisory for Nassau. A quick 4 AM update on the 4th, Seattle's record, and the tropics:
- A Heat Advisory has been issues for Nassau and the city from Noon today to 6 AM Tuesday for heat index values up to 104 degrees. The projected highs for today from the HRRR model are shown in the last image, and you can see it will be cooler for the Suffolk.
- The new Euro run isn't really showing any rain for Long Island for July 3rd, 4th, or 5th.
- Seattle is now forecast to hit 109 degrees tomorrow (Monday), which would shatter their all-time record of 104 degrees.
- The NHC is at 30% chance of tropical development for Invest 95L and 20% for the system off the southeast coast of the United States. With the exception of a few ensembles members, overall, the Euro ensembles aren't showing anything major to worry about.
