From MWSNY: Heavy rain with flash flooding is possible late tonight through Saturday. A widespread area of 2 to 3 inches of rain is in the forecast with locally higher amounts of 3 to 5 inches possible. This could lead to isolated to scattered instances of flash flooding, but confidence is low at this time as to where exactly the heaviest rain will fall.
