- As you know, I have been posting about the heavier showers coming from the warm front for late tonight into tomorrow morning. There will be some very heavy downpours at times for some areas and a chance of thunder. The main timing for Long Island looks to be mainly from 1 AM to 10 AM and then a break before the pre-cold frontal trough brings another threat for a line of thunderstorms in the late afternoon. It will also be humid today and very humid tonight into tomorrow night. The actual cold front comes through tomorrow night with a wind shift, and then the humidity gradually decreases Friday morning, so it will be a sunny, very warm, and less humid Friday afternoon.
- The upper level low will be over the northeast this weekend, so there will be a chance of afternoon/evening showers mostly inland and to the north. For Long Island, it will be a mostly nice weekend with low humidity and only a 20% chance of a passing showers around late afternoon Saturday and probably a little better chance later on Sunday.
- After mostly near normal temperatures this weekend into the middle of next week, it does warm up around and just after the middle of the month.
