Hurricane Larry on its way to a Cat 4, the Euro ensembles, and a potential storm in the Gulf:
- Hurricane Larry now has maximum sustained winds of 100 mph on its way to becoming a 140-mph Cat 4, and Bermuda needs to keep a close eye on it, but it will stay well off the east coast of the United States.
- The Euro ensembles show the potential system in the Gulf next week, but there's a lot of uncertainty right now, and the chances of it being a hurricane are very low right now.
- I am still watching the potential for a hurricane out in the Atlantic around mid-month.
