***Increased tornado risk and wind for Long Island with the northern shift in the storm track***

See previous post for the full update, but with the storm track farther north, Long Island is now in the increased tornado potential area with a 5% chance of a tornado occurring within 25 miles of any given location (1st image). Also, the wind gusts should be stronger than the NWS is showing and they have increased their max gusts to around 35 mph for Long Island )last image). There will likely be some gusts over 45 mph though (the HRRR gusts in the 4th image may be a little overdone). The axis of heaviest flash-flooding rain is now north of Long Island, but we should still get 2 to 4 inches (see 2nd and 3rd images).
