L.I. forecast with some showers/t-storms and the potential for Hurricane Bret really ramping up:

- Overall, the forecast for Long Island is looking better with next week looking drier, but we do have the showers and thunderstorms at times from later this afternoon into tomorrow evening. I have included some future radar images below, and I will post the latest future radar video later this morning.

- The chances for a tropical storm or hurricane (Bret is the next name) in the Atlantic next week are really increasing, and I have included the Euro ensembles below showing a pretty good chance of it curving northward before reaching the Caribbean islands.

- Much warmer weather starting next weekend as we warm up into 80's.
