Latest maps for Ian, which will rapidly intensify and become a Cat 3 major hurricane:

- A Cat 4 is also still possible.

- The new NHC forecast map will be out at 5 AM, and I will post it later.

- I have included the wind gust map from the Euro, but keep in mind it's just to a give a general idea, and also its in knots, so multiply by 1.15 to convert to mph.

- Will have to investigate this further, but it looks like very slow movement over Florida is possible. The Euro is showing up to 15 inches of rain being possible (4th image).

- The last image is the Euro ensembles 10-day map, which seems to show the storm hanging around over northern Florida.
