Latest maps for Monday morning:
It's still very early, and the ensembles will give the best overall idea for the snow threat, but here are images from the Canadian, GFS, ICON, and Weather Prediction Center for 7 AM Monday. As of now, for Long Island, the odds favor some accumulating snow initially, but changing to sleet and then rain. However, if we can get the secondary storm to strengthen a little farther to the southeast, then it could be a mostly snow event. Overall though, it could be a fairly long-duration event with some areas of the northeast getting over a foot of snow.
